Adam

Adam proved early his ability as a top breeder. He was brought to Saunders Loft in the fall of 2002. The results of his offspring have been phenomenal to say the least! His first season in the breeding loft, paired with Eve, they produced 3 top racers:

AU 03 OGN 904 - Nestmate to 905

1st vs 345 birds 319 miles
4th vs 229 birds 229 miles
5th vs 402 birds 161 miles
36th vs 549 birds 113 miles

AU 03 OGN 905 - 4th Digest Overall Ace Young Bird 2003

3rd vs 345 birds 319 miles (equal 1st , 3 seconds behind nestmate)
8th vs 549 birds 113 miles
7th vs 402 birds 161 miles
6th vs 332 birds 229 miles
9th vs 481 birds 113 miles
20th vs 564 birds 80 miles
39th vs 296 birds 229 miles

AU 03 OGN 925 - (full sister to  904 &905) Possibly the best racer of the (3) 2003 birds but I pulled her from an A race, that counted for points, and put her in the B race because she was missing her 7th and 8th flights. She took 2nd in that race. Since she had now missed an average speed race, I sent her in the club One Bird Derby race and she was 1st in that race. Despite missing two average speed races, she still place 7th Champion bird in the club! She had 1st , 4th (equal 1st), 2nd and 6 x top 10%. In 2004 I kept one egg off 925 prior to old bird races. That bird, AU 04 WFA 2746, became a 2004 AU Hall Of Fame winner.

Because of the incredible results I had with Adam and Eve in 2003, I left them paired in 2004. As a result, along came “True Love”, AU 04 WFA 2750, National Champion Young Bird 2004. She had an absolutely phenomenal race record with an AU unirate of 0.405%.

True Love’s race record:
1st vs 449 birds 250 miles
2nd vs 751 birds 166 miles
2nd vs 420 birds (equal 1st) 319 miles (2 seconds behind)
5th vs 987 birds (equal 1st) 80 miles (5 seconds behind)
6th vs 915 birds (equal 1st) 131 miles (24 seconds behind)

I feel lucky to have stubbled on to the pair of Adam & Eve. Their grandchildren are proving that the strength of this line will continue.
