Dilly is my wife's nickname. When she was a little girl her dad used to call her Dilly Dally Dumplin. From that came "Dilly" for short and her dad still calls her by this name. Very rarely do I hear him use her given name of Carolyn.

This bird was my first "Ace Pigeon"  and I wanted to name it after my wife. So Dilly it is! She came from two of my best breeders, Kuzko and Jane. Both these birds have produced winners with different mates as well. Not only did Dilly win 1st Overall Ace Young Bird in 2003, but in 2004 I took only one round from her and one of those young birds became a Hall of Fame Young Bird.
