My wife always teases me that my pigeons are my true love. So when "True Love" won National Champion young bird, the name just stuck! From the time she was weaned, I could tell there was something special about her. She just wanted to fly! After all the other birds had trapped while loft flying, she would still be out circling the loft, almost begging the other birds to stay out and fly with her. It was not uncommon for her to loft fly for 2 hours, many times up to three hours. During training tosses, she would always be back with the first group, but would continue to circle the loft as the other birds came in. You dream of a chance to have a bird like this. My dream as come true.
